I want to thank Beck Funeral Home for the caring and professional service they provided for my uncle in March of this year. He had pre-paid his funeral but they gently guided me through the next steps of arranging the out of state burial and getting the veteran stone too. I appreciate the patience and kindness showed when I was emotional and tired.
Today, would have been his 79th birthday. I was genuinely surprised when I found a Remembrance Card from Beck Funeral Home in the mailbox. That was such a sweet gesture and our family were touched by the thoughtfulness. Thank you.

Many people learn skills and perform their jobs day in and day out. Compassion is not a teachable skill. You either have it or you don’t. I have been absolutely amazed at the care and compassion given to me and our family during my husband’s death. I was lost and had no idea how to proceed and to make sure Butch’s service reflected him and honored the wonderful man he was. When Sam came to our home at 3:30am he came with his soft spoken gentle demeanor. He came professionally dressed as Rabun County Coroner. He kindly let me know that was the job he was performing. When I mentioned using Beck’s he quietly advised me to speak with our family and call if they were needed. When I initially spoke with Carrie on the phone she understood that I was very sick and the service would be delayed. There’s no words to describe how this young lady provided care to our family. She knew time wise logistical details that needed to be handled assisted in planning and coordinating even the small details. She and her Dad have a vast knowledge of resources to make arrangements less stressful. I’ve heard sad stories of families pressured to choose the most expensive products and left feeling guilty if they could not afford it. I knew my husband. I chose a very simple coffin with rope handles. Even after his service Carrie called to see if she could help. Yesterday Nov.24th my son and I stopped by to get a couple of items. Sam had researched a Covid-19 resource that we had no idea was available that could reimburse much of the final expenses which we had paid. That’s above and beyond. I felt cared for and appreciate the professionalism blended with compassion. Thank-you for taking care of me and our family.

Sam and his staff are amazing, with great sadness in the last few years we have had to say goodbye to loved ones Sam and his staff were kind respectful and made our last goodbyes a little easier. I would also like to say that I have been requested to fix several peoples hair and when I arrived at the funeral home (Sam and his staff) had everything set up VERY respectfully. I just want to thank y’all for everything that you have done for my family throughout the years !!

They worked with me on my special requests and went ABOVE AND BEYOND what was asked of them to make sure I had everything I needed. My husband's death was a special situation which required extra steps and they were right there helping me get things done. On top of that they informed me of things *I* wasn't aware.
