"Tina" Altha Christine (Kilby) Lee

Altha Christine Kilby Lee (Tina), age 72, of Clayton, GA, entered into eternal rest on Sunday morning, June 6, 2021 after a brief, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  She was a native of Rabun County, a daughter of the late Ferdinand C. Kilby and the late Oza Christine Coffee Kilby.  Tina worked as a real estate agent at RE/Max for thirty years, retiring at the end of 2019.  She received numerous awards during her career, including Top Office Sales Associate in 1999, induction into the national Re/Max Hall of  Fame in 2000 and the Re/Max Platinum Club in 2005.   Prior to entering real estate, Tina and her husband, Sandy owned and operated the Clayton Café.  Tina also owned and operated two separate clothing stores--Tina's Tots and Toddlers and The Kid's Zone. 

She was a Christian and attended Clayton Baptist Church and Persimmon Church of God.  She had a life-long relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and relied constantly on her faith.  Tina was a loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be sorely missed by the many people she touched during her time here on earth.

In addition to her parents Tina was preceded in death by seven brothers:  Carl, Claude, Curtis, Coit, Fred, Furman, and Dwight Kilby

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Carroll S. Lee Jr. (Sandy), daughter Lori Lee Keller (Tony) of Tiger, GA, son Christopher C. Lee of Denver, CO, and two grandchildren, Cory Keller and Christina Keller.   Also surviving are two brothers--the Rev. Jimmie Kilby (Juanita) of Mountain City, GA and Deleano Kilby (Harlene) of Tiger, GA,  one sister, Brenda Kilby of Clayton, GA and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved greatly.

Visitation for Tina Lee will be Wednesday, June 9, from 6 until 8 PM at the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton.  A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, June 10, at 2PM in the Beck Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Joey Thompson officiating.  Interment will be in Rabun Memory Park with the Rev. Jimmy Hunter conducting the graveside rites.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund in Tina's honor.
