Courtney Faith Zajdowicz

Courtney Faith Zajdowicz, age 26, of Mountain City, Georgia passed away on September 1, 2021.

In her professional life she worked as a Supervisor at the Rabun County Detention Center. Previously she had worked at Ingles during her time as a Rabun County High School Student, and went on to work at Alto State Prison, as well as working for a Certified Transport Company. She was currently taking classes online to become an EMT. Courtney was always smiling and outgoing in her personality. She had a big heart and always tried her best to help those in need.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Leonard Cross.

She is survived by her parents, David Cross and Crystal Zajdowicz Cross, of Clayton; her grandparents, Janet Zajdowicz and Margaret Cross; her brother, Dominic Cross, of Clayton as well as many close friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday September 10, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Georgia.

A service will be held on Saturday September 11, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Beck Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Stutsman officiating.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Courtney’s Memorial Fund,  being set up by Rabun County Bank in Clayton, Georgia.
